Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an extended game drive through grassland, wetland and woodland habitats. Wildlife may include wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, hippo, elephant, lion, hyena and, with luck, black rhino. Return to Arusha after the crater experience.
Transfer for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, meet your island representative and continue to historic Stone Town. The evening is flexible for a first walk through the old town and waterfront atmosphere.
Explore Stone Town with a local guide, then continue to a spice-growing area to discover Zanzibar’s historic relationship with cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, cardamom and tropical crops. Transfer afterward to your selected beach accommodation.
Enjoy a selected marine excursion adapted to the coast, tides, weather and final package. The day may include sailing, swimming and snorkelling in Zanzibar’s tropical waters. Return for a relaxed evening.
